This Shipping Policy explains where Peptix Canada ships, how orders are processed, available shipping methods, delivery estimates, shipping charges, address requirements, and how we handle delayed, missing, damaged, stolen, refused, or undeliverable packages.
This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Where We Ship
Peptix Canada currently ships only to eligible addresses within Canada, including the Canadian provinces and territories.
We do not currently ship to:
- the United States
- international destinations outside Canada
- freight-forwarding companies
- parcel-forwarding or reshipping services
- export consolidation facilities
- addresses that we reasonably believe will be used to export or reship products outside Canada
Orders submitted with an address outside our serviceable area may be declined or cancelled and refunded.
Availability of shipping to remote, rural, northern, or territorial destinations may depend on carrier service availability.
2. Provincial and Territorial Restrictions
We currently intend to accept eligible orders from addresses throughout Canada, subject to:
- carrier service availability
- applicable federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal laws
- product-specific restrictions
- age-verification requirements
- research-use requirements
- payment and fraud screening
- Peptix Canada’s right to review or refuse an order
Laws, regulations, carrier requirements, and product classifications may change.
You are responsible for determining whether purchasing, receiving, possessing, storing, or using a product is permitted in your province, territory, municipality, institution, or research setting before placing an order.
Peptix Canada may refuse, restrict, place on hold, or cancel an order based on:
- the shipping destination
- the product ordered
- suspected unlawful activity
- suspected personal-use activity
- suspected human or animal use
- suspected commercial resale
- suspected export or reshipment
- incomplete eligibility information
- payment or identity concerns
- any other compliance or security concern
We may introduce product-level shipping restrictions without prior notice where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, carrier, security, or operational reasons.
3. Order Review and Processing
Orders are generally processed through Peptix Canada’s fulfilment operations in British Columbia, Canada.
Our normal business days are Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays observed in British Columbia and other days on which our fulfilment operation or applicable carriers are closed.
Most approved, in-stock orders are processed within one to three business days after payment is successfully completed.
Processing time begins only after:
- payment has been received and approved
- required account information has been provided
- age and research-use acknowledgements have been completed
- the order has passed fraud and compliance screening
- all ordered products are available
Order processing may take longer during:
- product launches
- sales and promotional events
- periods of unusually high demand
- inventory counts or inventory transitions
- severe weather
- carrier disruptions
- statutory-holiday periods
- payment reviews
- fraud or compliance reviews
- circumstances outside our reasonable control
An order-confirmation email does not mean that an order has been approved, accepted, or shipped. Peptix Canada may review or cancel an order before carrier pickup.
4. Out-of-Stock and Partially Available Orders
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate inventory information, but inventory errors and simultaneous purchases may occur.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may:
- contact you to offer an available substitute
- hold the order until the affected item becomes available
- ship the available products separately
- remove and refund the unavailable product
- issue store credit with your agreement
- cancel and refund the affected order
We will not substitute a different product without your authorization.
Where an order is divided into multiple shipments because of an inventory issue caused by Peptix Canada, we will generally cover the additional standard shipping charge unless otherwise agreed.
5. Shipping Carriers and Services
Peptix Canada primarily ships using Canada Post.
Depending on destination, availability, package characteristics, service interruptions, or operational needs, we may also use another Canadian carrier or courier, including:
- Purolator
- UPS
- FedEx
- Canpar
- GLS
- ICS Courier
- another reputable delivery provider
Available services may include:
- Canada Post Expedited Parcel
- Canada Post Xpresspost
- Canada Post Priority
- regional or local courier delivery
- ground courier service
- express courier service
- other services displayed during checkout
Not every service is available to every postal code.
Peptix Canada may select a comparable or faster carrier service where the selected service is unavailable, operationally unsuitable, or affected by a disruption.
6. Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery times may be displayed during checkout or in your shipping-confirmation email.
Delivery estimates begin after the package has been accepted or scanned by the carrier. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Delivery estimates:
- are expressed in business days
- generally exclude weekends and statutory holidays
- may vary based on origin and destination
- may be longer for rural, remote, northern, or territorial destinations
- may be affected by weather, wildfire, flooding, road closures, or other emergencies
- may be affected by carrier volume, labour disputes, or service interruptions
- are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless the selected carrier service expressly includes a delivery guarantee
Peptix Canada does not guarantee that a package will arrive by a particular date unless we expressly agree to that guarantee in writing.
A delay does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of the order or shipping charge, except where required by applicable law or where a carrier-approved service guarantee applies.
7. Shipping Rates and Free Shipping
Shipping charges are calculated or displayed during checkout based on factors that may include:
- destination
- postal code
- package weight
- package dimensions
- carrier
- service level
- signature requirements
- insurance coverage
- promotional offers
All shipping charges are presented in Canadian dollars unless clearly stated otherwise.
Peptix Canada may offer free or discounted shipping when an order exceeds a stated purchase threshold.
The applicable free-shipping threshold and conditions will be displayed on the Site or during checkout and may change from time to time.
Unless otherwise stated, free-shipping promotions:
- apply only to eligible Canadian destinations
- apply only to the service selected by Peptix Canada
- do not include upgraded or express shipping
- may exclude remote-area surcharges
- may exclude oversized or unusually heavy shipments
- may exclude certain products or promotions
- may not be combined with another offer
If a customer returns products and the remaining order value falls below the original free-shipping threshold, Peptix Canada may deduct the original standard shipping cost from the refund where permitted by law and disclosed in our Return and Refund Policy.
8. Order Tracking
Once your order has been packaged and transferred to the carrier, we will normally send a shipping-confirmation email containing a tracking number or tracking link.
It may take up to 24 hours, and occasionally longer, for the first tracking scan to appear.
A shipping label being created does not necessarily mean that the carrier has taken possession of the package.
Customers should review the tracking information before contacting Peptix Canada regarding delivery timing.
Tracking updates are provided by the carrier. Peptix Canada does not control the accuracy, timing, or wording of carrier tracking events.
9. Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address during checkout.
Before completing an order, verify:
- recipient name
- street address
- unit, suite, or apartment number
- city or municipality
- province or territory
- postal code
- telephone number
- email address
Peptix Canada is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable information supplied by the customer, subject to applicable law.
Contact Support@peptixCanada.com immediately if you notice an address error.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been submitted. Once an order has been processed or transferred to the carrier, we may be unable to redirect or recover it.
An address change may require:
- cancellation and replacement of the original order
- additional identity verification
- payment of additional shipping charges
- carrier approval
For fraud-prevention reasons, we may refuse to change the shipping address after payment has been completed.
10. Post Office Boxes and FlexDelivery
We may ship to a Canada Post post office box or eligible FlexDelivery address when:
- Canada Post is the selected or assigned carrier
- the address is entered correctly
- the selected service supports the destination
- the order passes our payment and compliance screening
Courier companies such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, Canpar, or GLS may require a physical street address and may not deliver to Canada Post post office boxes.
When a post office box or FlexDelivery address is supplied, Peptix Canada may change the carrier to Canada Post or request a physical address before shipping.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the name on the order matches the name authorized to collect the package.
11. Signature and Age Verification
Peptix Canada may require a signature, proof of age, or delivery to a post office or authorized pickup location for certain orders.
Signature or age-verification requirements may depend on:
- order value
- destination
- payment risk
- customer account history
- product type
- carrier requirements
- fraud-prevention concerns
The person receiving or collecting the package may be required to provide acceptable government-issued identification.
If the carrier cannot complete delivery because the recipient cannot provide the required identification, proof of age, or signature, the package may be held for pickup or returned to Peptix Canada.
Customers are responsible for reviewing tracking notices and collecting held packages before the carrier’s pickup deadline.
12. Title and Risk of Loss
Ownership of purchased products passes to you only after Peptix Canada has received full payment and accepted the order.
Subject to applicable law, the risk of loss or damage generally transfers to you when the package is recorded as delivered to:
- the shipping address supplied during checkout
- an authorized recipient at that address
- a community mailbox or parcel locker assigned to that address
- a concierge, front desk, mailroom, or building representative
- a safe-drop location selected or authorized by the customer or carrier
- a carrier pickup location from which the customer has collected the package
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable Canadian consumer-protection legislation.
13. Delivery Instructions and Safe-Drop Requests
Delivery instructions submitted through the carrier may include requests to:
- leave a package at the door
- leave a package in a lobby
- leave a package with a neighbour
- leave a package in another unsecured location
- waive a signature
- redirect a package
Any such instruction is made at the customer’s risk.
Peptix Canada is not responsible for theft, loss, exposure, or damage resulting from customer-authorized delivery instructions, except where required by law.
Do not select a safe-drop location if the property is unsecured, exposed to weather, accessible to the public, or otherwise unsuitable.
14. Packages Marked Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows that a package was delivered but you cannot locate it:
- Confirm that the shipping address on the order is correct.
- Check all entrances, mailboxes, parcel lockers, safe-drop locations, and delivery notices.
- Check with household members, neighbours, reception staff, building management, and the building mailroom.
- Allow until the end of the delivery day, as some carrier scans may occur shortly before physical delivery.
- Contact the carrier using the tracking number.
- Contact Peptix Canada if the package remains missing.
A package marked delivered must be reported to Support@peptixCanada.com within seven calendar days of the recorded delivery date.
Include:
- your order number
- the recipient’s full name
- the shipping address
- the tracking number
- a description of the steps taken to locate the package
Peptix Canada may contact the carrier and open an investigation where appropriate.
We may require the customer to provide a written declaration confirming that the package was not received.
A replacement or refund is not automatic merely because a customer reports that a carrier-marked delivery cannot be located. The resolution will depend on:
- carrier investigation results
- delivery confirmation
- signature or pickup records
- proof-of-delivery photographs
- account and order history
- shipping insurance
- suspected fraud or abuse
- applicable law
15. Packages Lost in Transit
A package may be considered lost in transit when:
- tracking has not updated for an unreasonable period
- the carrier confirms the package is missing
- the carrier’s investigation concludes that the package cannot be located
- the package has not arrived within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery date
Contact Support@peptixCanada.com if tracking has not updated or the shipment has not arrived.
Please report non-delivery within 21 calendar days after the estimated delivery date so that we can investigate while carrier records remain available.
Peptix Canada, as the sender, will generally submit the carrier claim where required.
Do not submit a duplicate financial-institution chargeback while we are actively investigating a carrier claim without first notifying us. Duplicate recovery attempts may delay resolution and may be treated as suspected payment abuse.
If the carrier confirms that a package was lost before delivery, Peptix Canada may, depending on the circumstances and subject to applicable law:
- reship the order
- replace the affected products
- issue store credit with your agreement
- refund the affected products
- refund the order
Original express-shipping charges may not be refundable where a replacement shipment is provided, except where required by law or approved under a carrier service guarantee.
16. Damaged Packages
Inspect your package promptly after delivery.
Damage must be reported to Support@peptixCanada.com within seven calendar days of the recorded delivery date.
Your report must include:
- the order number
- the tracking number
- a description of the damage
- photographs of the outer shipping package
- photographs of the shipping label
- photographs of the internal packaging
- photographs of every affected product
- the quantity of affected products
Keep all products, packaging, labels, and shipping materials until Peptix Canada confirms that they may be discarded.
Failure to retain the packaging or provide reasonable evidence may prevent us or the carrier from verifying the claim.
Do not use, open, alter, relabel, discard, or transfer a product that appears damaged, compromised, leaking, broken, contaminated, or otherwise unsafe to handle.
After reviewing the evidence, Peptix Canada may:
- request additional photographs or information
- instruct you to return the affected product
- submit a carrier claim
- replace the affected product
- issue store credit with your agreement
- provide a partial refund
- provide a full refund for the affected product
17. Incorrect or Missing Items
If your order contains an incorrect product, incorrect quantity, or missing item, contact Support@peptixCanada.com within seven calendar days of delivery.
Include:
- the order number
- photographs of the complete order as received
- photographs of the products and labels
- a photograph of the packing slip, if included
- a photograph of the shipping package
- a description of what is missing or incorrect
Do not open or use an incorrectly supplied product.
Where Peptix Canada confirms a fulfilment error, we may:
- ship the correct product
- ship the missing item
- provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect product
- issue store credit with your agreement
- issue an appropriate refund
Where an incorrect item must be returned because of an error by Peptix Canada, the customer will not be required to pay reasonable return-shipping charges.
18. Stolen Packages
Peptix Canada is not responsible for theft occurring after a package has been properly delivered to the address or authorized delivery location, subject to applicable law.
Where theft is suspected, you should:
- check with household members and neighbours
- contact building management
- review available security footage
- contact the carrier
- report the theft to local police where appropriate
- contact your property insurer if applicable
Peptix Canada may assist with available carrier documentation but does not guarantee replacement or reimbursement for a package stolen after confirmed delivery.
We strongly recommend using a secure address, signature service, post office pickup, parcel locker, or FlexDelivery address where package theft is a concern.
19. Refused, Unclaimed, and Undeliverable Packages
You are responsible for being available to receive or collect your shipment.
A package may be returned to Peptix Canada when:
- delivery is refused
- the address is incorrect or incomplete
- the recipient has moved
- the recipient cannot be identified
- the recipient does not collect the package before the carrier deadline
- required identification is not provided
- required age verification fails
- required duties, charges, or carrier fees are refused
- the carrier cannot access the delivery location
- the package is otherwise considered undeliverable
When a package is returned, Peptix Canada may:
- contact you to confirm the address
- reship the package after payment of a new shipping charge
- deduct return-carrier charges from an available refund where permitted
- cancel the order
- refund the eligible product subtotal, less non-refundable shipping and reasonable costs where permitted by law and our Return and Refund Policy
Shipping charges are generally non-refundable when a package is returned because of:
- an incorrect address supplied by the customer
- failure to collect the package
- delivery refusal
- failure to provide identification
- failure to satisfy an age-verification requirement
- another circumstance within the customer’s control
Products will be assessed after return. A refund may be denied or reduced where returned products cannot be safely returned to inventory, subject to applicable law.
20. Return-to-Sender and Reshipping Charges
If a returned package is eligible for reshipment, the customer may be required to pay:
- a new outbound shipping charge
- the carrier’s return charge
- an address-correction fee
- remote-area surcharges
- other reasonable carrier costs caused by the failed delivery
Peptix Canada may require address confirmation and identity verification before reshipping.
We may refuse to reship to an address associated with repeated failed deliveries, fraud reports, chargebacks, or other suspicious activity.
21. Shipping Delays and Events Outside Our Control
Peptix Canada is not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:
- severe weather
- wildfire
- flooding
- earthquake
- road closures
- natural disasters
- pandemic or public-health emergency
- power or internet failure
- carrier equipment failure
- labour strike or lockout
- government action
- security incident
- civil disturbance
- acts of war or terrorism
- sudden carrier-volume increases
- interruption of transportation networks
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant known delays and assist customers with available carrier information.
22. Order Cancellation Before Shipment
Contact Support@peptixCanada.com promptly to request cancellation.
An order can only be cancelled if it has not yet been processed, packed, transferred to a carrier, or otherwise made irreversible.
Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be stopped.
If an order has already shipped, it will be handled under this Shipping Policy and our Return and Refund Policy.
Peptix Canada may cancel an order before shipment for reasons including:
- inventory unavailability
- pricing or listing errors
- payment failure
- suspected fraud
- suspected personal or prohibited use
- eligibility concerns
- shipping restrictions
- carrier limitations
- suspected resale or export
- violation of our Terms and Conditions
If Peptix Canada cancels an order before shipment, the amount paid for the cancelled products and any applicable unearned shipping charges will be refunded to the original payment method, subject to payment-provider processing times.
23. Research Use Only
All products shipped by Peptix Canada are supplied strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research purposes.
Products are not:
- drugs
- natural health products
- foods
- cosmetics
- medical devices
- veterinary products
- products intended for personal consumption
Products are not offered for human or animal use and must not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease, illness, injury, or health condition.
Purchasing or receiving a product does not authorize its use for a prohibited purpose.
Review our Terms and Conditions and Research Use Only Disclaimer before placing an order.
24. Applicable Consumer Rights
This Shipping Policy is intended to operate to the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or waives a statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived.
Where this Shipping Policy conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable federal, provincial, or territorial law, the mandatory legal provision will apply to the extent of the conflict.
